Special Church-wide Events
SPECIAL EVENTS
As opportunities present themselves we come together for special events; those that are not regularly scheduled throughout the year but that we enjoy and engage in together. These extra-ordinary times together have included:
College & Career Dinners
Groups that have come together for dinner and in special groups to discuss the needs and concerns of those who are involved in Miami University learning and teaching.
Conversation Cafe`
An opportunity to come together to see where we, as members of OPC, could "plug in" as a match to what we believe to be our own, personal, calls to ministry. This luncheon was held as a follow-up to the Holy Conversation findings. We had the chance to come together, gathering in our areas of interest, in order to learn about and share ideas about the areas that were identified as those of interest in the church-wide study and discernment process.
