OUTREACH TO OXFORD AND BUTLER COUNTY

There are many opportunities for involvement in community outreach ministries. Our members are very busy and committed to serving those who live in the Oxford Community and beyond. Listed here are several of the ways that we serve God through supporting and serving our local community:

  • Alzheimer's Group - gather monthly, led by our co-pastor and parish nurse to offer support to those caring for loved ones with Alzheimer's Disease
  • Campus Ministry Center (CMC) / Lights on Campus (LOC) - ministering to and with MU College Students and the Oxford Community
  • Family Resource Center - providing a Thrift Shop (free to those in need), job training and assistance in applying for benefits through the Benefit Bank
  • Habitat for Humanity - working with future home owners to build their homes
  • Hospice of Cincinnati - offering end-of-life support to patients and families
  • Kirkmont Center - supporting campers, staff, programs, & facilities at our PCUSA camp
  • Mobile Health Fair - providing health screenings, education and referrals for low-income Ohioans.
  • One Way Farm - providing an alternative to foster care for children & teens in need of help
  • Oxford College Corner Medical Clinic - providing access to a free clinic for Oxford area adults without health insurance
  • Planned Parenthood - supporting women's health issues
  • Oxford Women's Care Center - providing counseling and other services to community and college women
  • Pleasant Vineyard - providing a summertime, Christian youth camp for area youth
  • Safe Haven Farms - providing access to a community of choice for autistic adults
  • Blood drives - providing opportunity for blood and plasma donations to our local blood bank, the Hoxworth Blood Center
